Re: Stage organization

I have a frind who used to work as a cabinet maker at a road case company.
He made me a harp ith wooden partitions to stand 36 diatonic harps
vertically. Inside of the holes are lined with felt. T bottom and top with
foam. This gives harps the propper drying out. Each compartment can be
labled with key.

In addition, there are two small compartments for sundry items (I keep my
Shaker mike and other needed do-dads). The hinged top comes off and it is
covered with road felt and heavy duty hardware.
It is the most sevicable item I own in connection with harps.

I was lucky. The guy who made it for me-Chris Fish-(-he also makes fishing
poles and tackle boxes:)- did it for the princely sum of two Lee Oskars. It
suits me perfectly 'cause its custom made. If anybody wants more info (this
is NOt an advertisement) I would be happy to put you in touch with him (hes
not on the net). He has told me he would be willing to make more. The guy
knows quality and ha s a unique understanding of a harp players needs.
