Fender Champ?

  My wife and I are going to see Junior on Saturday.  We recently had
a baby and this will be our first night out together.  It would be nice to
chat at the club, the only people I know there are people that run the door,
otherwise I'm a stranger.Anyway, we should chat if all goes as plans;
not sure how to identify each other, short of wearing a red rose or
something.

Hey thanks for the reply. I get the feeling the amp is a little too
new/clean and overpriced. (I saw it in the chronicle and called out
of curiosity) And once again I forgot to bring my bullet with me
so I can't really check it out anyway. But I figured if it sounded
like a steak I'd try it with a vocal mike and guess from there. Hey
you don't happen to have a green bullet and wanna go amp hunting,
do you? It's probably an omen. Forgot the mike, forget the amp.

So are you going to the Buddy Guy show thursday?

  I've played with a fender champ maybe eight or nine years ago and
I thought it was thoroughly nasty.  Good tone, capable of good
distortion.

Anyone ever use a champ and a bullet? How does it  (I know -
subjective) sound?
I've got a line on an amp, probably 5 years old. What are these
