No sweat Jack, jus take it easy on the polishing wheel, because if you put 
too much pressure, it may throw the slide piece around and bend the heck out 
of it. I would feel really bad if this happened after I had suggested it. 
YOu may want to try polishing your penknife blade at first on it to get the 
hang of the tool. (Assuming you will be on a fast grinder).
