You have two choices ...

Set your subscription to be digestified (you should have received
instructions on how to do this when you signed up), or ...

Get a decent email package which does filtering.  I use Eudora 2.x, which
allows me to set up filter rules.  That way, I filter out all my mailing
list stuff into their own folders, leaving only non "junk" mail in my
inbox.
