Is it worth spending money on one? And how much are they? I know these
issues have recently been discussed, but I spaced out on a bunch of harpl
mail.
I'm still in my "back to basics" phase and am using an SM57. I just got
tired of bullets constantly dying and, when working, only having one 'balls
to the wall' sound.
I've also rediscovered how much fun it is playing without having to hold
something akin to a metal tennis ball *and* a harp. To be honest, most of
my bullets died because I dropped them one too many times. My hands get
very sweaty, and no amount of gaffer tape or Gorilla Snot (yes, a genuine
product designed to increase the grip on guitar picks) would stop my
bullets from slip sliding away.
