~Prior art~ if practiced and if generally available is usually not
patentable in the US. I'll also take another look for the overlap with the
MM (there were so many, that I failed to find this one). They will have an
interesting time defending it and my guess is they never hope to. Could be
wrong.
I agree that "Lydian" F might be a better label for blow position MM in
cross C, but LO does a good job of explaining their new convention of
starting their dorian scale on hole 3 blow, etc Might be nice to have a
new ~application note~ that has another dimension added to the table for
the other modes for each position.
Anybody want to take a stab at a quartal tuned harp ? Let's really open
things up, add a slide and another set of reeds to get the seconds and
thirds. Or maybe as a new chord harp. Only a suggestion....(maybe one would
sell every other leap year)
