I finally got the IMO (International Money Order) from my bank on Monday.
They said it would take "48 hours, max", and it took two weeks.  I
complained in no uncertain terms to head office, who swear blind they sent
the IMO to my branch the same day I ordered it, and that my local branch
must have misplaced it.  Given the awesome disinterest and give a shit less
attitude of my local branch staff, this is entirely possible.  Thankyou

Anyway, I spoke to David Michelsen (Norman's business partner) today, he
has the IMO and is getting the order together right now.  They'll be with
me next week.  More news when there is news.  Film at 11.

According to David, they have spoken recently with Lee Oskar, who is
'disturbed' that Norman is selling Ultimos in the US through private
individuals like me.  David, Norman and myself are of one mind when it
comes to this - "bite my shorts."  I believe that Norman/David originally
called Lee Oskar to ask about suppying Ultimos through Kevin, and were told
that this was a definite no-no.

I never did get a response from BassHarp about the Lee Oskar / Tombo
situation.  If Lee Oskar resold the complete Tombo range I wouldn't be so
pissed about this whole deal, but they don't, which means players in the US
are prevented from buying a good, long lasting, reasonably priced short
harp - and how many of those are there?  If you're reading this, Danny, I
really would appreciate your input (or let Lee loose on the keyboard for a
while).
