Well Craig what a redeeming post.  I'm glad you sent it.  I was being 
restained in my advocacy of earplugs I'm glad to see you weren't. I'm 
actually seeing more and more people using them onstage these days.  Bass 
players and drummers especially.  Craig's right about the clarity the 
earplugs provide.  It's truly amazing.  The more expensive custom ones 
that I use don't cut the top off. (not a plug just a plea to people to 
not use that excuse)  FJM
