You know Ted, I had to comment on a couple of thing about your post. First
from the amount of playing, I assume you have feel in love with the SBS?
Steve is a great guy, and really well connected around Hohner. I am proud to
say he searched us out and looked us up while on vacation in the US last
year.( It was a real honor to have him and his wife in our home ). I am
afraid I can't help with your problem, but take heart, I have the same
problem. I can't grease up my lips( due to the problem of minute amounts of
it travelling with my saliva and depositing on the reed ) so mine is worse.
I have just kept playing( with a little healing time ) and developed tough
spots. My next comment is, why not your bottom lip too? It effects both of
mine on the sides where my lips come together.
