Yea, that is one thing that I would like to avoid as much as possible. 
I think we have better chances of by-passing that sort of stuff by
having a REC group.

One other way around it is to have a Moderated group.  In that case,
all messages would come to me first and If they are not bogus posts
then I send them to the list.

I would rather NOT do a moderated list, that would be extremely tiring
for me.  And I don't think I need to moderate that sort of thing. 
Although, once we have a Newsgroup we may eventually find it necessary
to change to a moderated group...to keep out the riff-raff.

But I think for now (that is, once we get the group) we should just
stay like we are.

Anyone out there read any of the other REC.MUSIC.* groups?  I haven't
had time lately, so I don't know for sure...but how much useless
discussion goes on in them???
