HEARD FROM THE PROS
by Connie Hassler
Larry Stutz can be heard the sound track of the TV show "In The Heat of
the Night". The first episode he played in aired September 30. The second
one was December 16 on the "Your Own Kind" episode. Two more episodes he
recorded will be seen at a later time - "Last Round" and "Good Cop, Bad
Cop". The band, which records in Atlanta, consists of about 40 players,
including strings from the Atlanta Symphony. Larry plays both diatonic and
chromatic on the tracks.

Larry is another harmonica player a lot of us never heard of - he came to
Columbus in 1992 (BHF ' 92) and blew our socks off! He's a real dynamo on
stage with his dancing, humor, impersonations and harmonica virtuosity.
