If you don't think there's a difference between tongue-blocking tone
and puckering tone, listen to Walter Horton. You'll hear when he
switches.

If you want to play blues you have to do both. You can't play most
blue by puckering, and you can't play heavy Chicago stuff without
being able to tongue block.
