Newbie seeking advice

I've never played the harmonica, but have considered learning it a few times.
Then yesterday I bought a CD by the Holly Cole Trio, and it has a song
"Tennessee Waltz" in which Howard Levy plays harmonica.  I really like
the sound he gets, and it has sparked my interest in learning how to play.

So, given that background, I wouldn't mind some advice as to where I should
begin.  I've been playing guitar for 13 years, so I'm not new to music,
just new to the harmonica.
