that it would contain a few things I've been wanting to say about the list
for a while.)

Craig,

Welcome, you've found yourself among great friends.  It's great that you've
picked up harp to add to your notable talents!  In all honesty (please, no
flames from my Blues-L friends...) this is the finest mailing list I've
been involved with.  It offers a truly remarkable range of folks at all
levels of harmonica ability and knowledge.

And I do mean ALL levels.  There are begining players here, and there are
an amazing number of notable experts as well.  These include a few of the
foremost authorities in the biz.

In between there are a whole bunch of great people with great stories,
ideas, and questions.

I just wish I had the list around when *I* started playing!!
