Re: Howard Levy stuff in uk?



One more thought about some available Howard Levy stuff.  (Winston's
helpful discography reminded me of this.)  I've heard a couple people (who
will remain nameless) complain that they don't like Howard's playing
because it's "too technical" or "sterile."  To dispute this, a fine example
of his playing that comes to mind is his solo on "Your Mama Don't Dance"
found on the Kenny Loggins live album Winston mentioned.  Simply put, it
COOKS.  I'm personally indifferent to Mr. Loggins' work, but this solo is
worth the price of a CD.  Since this is probably the most "mainstream" of
the recordings Winston mentions, it might just be the easiest to find
overseas.
