Bootleggin' In The USA

This months issue of Musician mag's cover story is about the bootleg
industry.  They state a lot of bands do not mind people taping their
concerts.  99.99% trade it among themselves which cuts down on the
"bootleg-for-money-industry"  They found that it does not cut into
record sales because the majority of these people are fans and go
out and buy the records anyway.  Some bands even set up tape recording
sections at their concerts.
