Re: Harmonica Player's Hemoptylsis

Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller), in his later years, DID frequently
spit blood into a bucket while playing and singing. However, this had
little to do with his style of harmonica playing. Sonny Boy had
tuberculosis, and the blood was coming from his lungs, NOT his tongue.
This is documented in Paul Oliver's "The Meaning of the Blues" (also
published as "Blues Fell This Morning").
