Hi fellow Harpers:

I'm new to this list and thought that I'd jump in and get my feet wet.
I'm an acoustic guitarist who harps in a holder playing the harp
parts to Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Blues, etc.

What are these Japanese harps that are being discussed?

I have a couple of Huang Chinese harps that were really cheap, well made,
and sound great.  When I was at the Music Expo in NYC last month, Huang
was there with their line of harps - all keys, even Chromatics.  They
copy the Hohner design to a tee - for instance, the Star Performer is a
carbon copy of the Golden Melody.
