Harp as business
Today's (11/23) Washington Post Business section has an article on page 12
about
Jon Gindick, who, much to his own surprise, has made a living off of
harmonica books. He wrote the book "Country and Blues Harmonica for the
Musically Hopeless" published by Klutz Press. Notes from the article:
Gindick avoided selection by the military by playing the harmonica during
his draft board physical.
Hohner, based in Richmond (VA?), sells about 1 million harmonicas a year.
Playing while driving is mentioned in the article.
