    I play in the car 1) to spare the neighbors; 2) to stay awake; and 3)
because I can stand my harp better than I can stand my voice. It also seems to
have a strangely calming effect (on me) when faced with vicious drivers.

    Since the air conditioner is usually on in this part of Florida, I don't
usually inflict myself on the rest of the traffic. But you can get some pretty
wild reactions when you forget the windows are down and you're doing something
that will never sound right to anyone but you.
