Hello Robert and All; Simethicone is an anti-gas and bloating agent used in over the counter medicine for heartburn and digestive problems. While this might seem apropos for some players I don't think it will work well on a slide mechanisim . Perhaps Silicone was the intended substance? If so, make sure it is food grade.
