Re: [Harp-L] Cold frosty morning

This is great Tony. I love the O'carolyn sets too. Kudos for keeping this harmonica trio format kicking. Its inspiring me to get my Chordet 20 tuned up and back in the mix of things. (It has a very sour G chord). Curious your thoughts on the advantages of major cross tuning vs. melody maker for playing fiddle tunes? Easy Third tuning sets up nice as well for 3rd position minor tunes. Thanks for posting.

Cold Frosty Morning sits nicely in 3rd position.
The Tony Eyers Trio has recorded it, you can see it at

For this clip the diatonic harmonica is tuned to Major Cross
