Re: [Harp-L] new band videos

"What Mic are you using"?

Here's Rosco's rig again,, (from a previous post):

"my rig has been basically the same for 15 years. An old
RE-10 into an old AKG wireless into a really old Peavy Tubefex, ( a tube
driven rackmounted multi-effects processor with a dedicated footswitch.)
The compression of the wireless is part of the sound - I even use it in the
studio. The rig is pretty bullet proof for the road has been tweaked for
years till it sounds pretty good for most patches. In this vid it is run
into a mid 60's Gibson Skylark, which has a very early break up - nice for
the low volume gigs I have been doing lately. For balls out rock shows, I
run it into a Bassman RI. The patches can be stored on an outboard card, so
I never lose them. In this vid I start the solo with a slight chorus/slight
flange/delay/verb patch and switch to a big overdriven compressed patch
with delay, which is the same patch I used for fills..
Probably more than anyone wants to know"

Sounds great, the harp solo really tears the roof off it. what's the rig you're using? Very nice delay and chorus sounds, nice grit when you lean into it too. The video work is well done too.
