[Harp-L] Fiddle harmony with RP355 - Just intonation thirds

FIDDLE
I like to play a single root tone [1 - 4 - 5] and let the pitch shifter
create a tone above, that moves from Maj 2nd to Major 3rd with the foot
pedal. This simulates two strings heard from a fiddle. It is limited, but
does add a Cajun flavor. I mixed the tones at 50/50.

I tune my diatonics with lowered thirds by 13 cents, but hadn't thought
about the interval the harmonizer was creating. By default, it's ET equal
temperament, and was not as pretty.

JUST INTONATION
Using the Expression Pedal setting on the RP, I tuned the raised pitch (the
major third) a little flat intentionally. On the RP, toe down defaults at
99, but I set it at 91, and saved it. Isolating that pitch and checking
with an external tuner revealed that 91 = -13 cents. Perfect!

(I also use it for a pedal steel guitar sound with my lap steel)

BONUS
The pitch shifter will let you choose a whole step bend down (whammy), but
did you know you can trick it to give a 1/2 step bend down as well? Surf
music with harp-chords! (These are 100% tone, no harmony created.) Nice
variations to use VERY sparingly!
