I believe that this IS what he is doing. I believe that this is part of a blog compendium and web site. I believe that musicCal is also gathering information along the same lines. 
Either for personal or future reference. It's all good. But as you say, sometimes it's tricky to try and put things into a definitive place. All we have to work with is language and 
that doesn't always explain the real 'feel'.
