Re: [Harp-L] Sometimes ....

When you have harmonica processed through effects to sound like a different instrument (for example, trumpet), I suggest learning to play the harmonica like a trumpet to reinforce the effect. If you have a trumpet sound yet play the harmonica "harmonicky", you will get a confusing sonic result...trumpets don't wail, warble and bend notes like a harmonica.

Same goes for other instruments that are processed - for example, the guitar synthesizer that recreates a B-3 sound. The guitarist should play the sound like keys on an organ keyboard.

It's my opinion that we need all the instruments. Each has its unique sound
and admireres.
It would be a terrible loss if the present harmonica sound was altered to a
differend sound.
Think how boring all those symphany orchester strings would sound without
the added color
of woodwinds.IMHO Dale
