That is quite amusing Brendan because one of the experts that you cited in your rant has actually written to me "That's very cool, Neil!  I am an overbender, but it is sometimes hard to explain exactly what I am doing to achieve it."

Your connection between my writing and starring in videos is without any logical basis; there are now many people successfully using my original teaching method (the "Ashby Method for Overbending"). While the general concept of overbends has been log around then perhaps you (and your kvetching colleagues) are simply embarrassed that none of you figured the correct teaching method.
