One option to remember instead of re-tuning appeared on Harp-L six years ago and is worth repeating:

"Without retuning reeds, you can get both a Paddy
Richter harp and a Country-tuned harp by buying a Lee
Oskar Major tuned and a Lee Oskar Melody Maker and
switching the top reed plates."

That trick might even account for most of Lee's M-M sales.
