[Harp-L] Re: Metronome wsm-330

I've owned a whole slew of metronomes over the years, and by far the sturdiest and most useful one is the Matrix MR500. It's electronic, clicks rather than chirps, and is gloriously loud.

There was a definite Romantic aspect to the wind-up metronomes - like the WSM-330 -- but it was clear that, no matter what, there would come a day when you'd knock it off the piano or the music stand or wherever, and once one of those things hits the floor it will never beat evenly again. So, if you bought one and kept it on a shelf and never ever took it anywhere, you might do okay. But if you ever plan to move it around or travel with it, save yourself the heartache and get an electronic one.
