Hi

Astatic Model 30 Biscuit shell with a very nice but not too hot CR 
element. It preserves tone and dynamics very well and gives a very 
good crunch if cupped tightly. I also have a very hot CM element, very 
high output, that doesn't sound nearly as nice.

I also really like the EV 638.

Then i have a really nice wooden shell with a good CM element and 
"stealth" VC made by Greg Heuman, i really love that one. It's very 
light weight, warm sounding and it looks extremly cool. 

The EV 635A is anoter mic that i really like soundwise, yet i prefer 
bullet shells over stick mics.
