Re: [Harp-L] RE: no standards of harmonica accomplishment

I'm with Warren.

I play music. Those who like me and my music hire me. If no one hired
me, I'd probably still be playing music.

I do enjoy the cock of the head when I tell people I am a professional
harmonica player. Reminds of of how a dog looks when he gets confused. I
especially enjoy going to my wife's high school reunion in a small town in
Texas and seeing their circuitry sizzle as they say in a robot voice,
"Does not compute!"

But mostly, those who have heard me play give me respect and those who have
not, either do or don't until they hear me play. That's about as far as it
goes.
