Re: [Harp-L] who's manufacturing fender harmonicas?

The $10 model is made in China - who knows about quality on that one? However, the $30 one is made by Seydel, which holds out promise for a good quality instrument.

Fender is also planning a series of artist signature models. The first one will be a Lee Oskar signature Fender harmonica. It's still a Lee Oskar and still made by Tombo, just with the Fender imprint and marketing muscle.

However, some other artist endorsements are in the works at Fender, and could involve more than just adding a logo (can't say more at the moment).
