Joe is so right. 
I live in San Diego, where is seldom really cold, but I try to warm the chromatic up every time I play it.
On stage, it's not a bad idea to have a heating pad, and two chromatics, so that you can swap  them when the one you are playing clogs â like Robert Bonfiglio LOL
