Re: [Harp-L] harp effects

For old school reverse guitar solos, engineers would flip the tape reel upside down and you would solo against the 'track' while monitoring in reverse so your pitch and timing were in the pocket.

Then flip the master back over and you have your reverse solo, pocket and correctly pitched to the harmony..

Easier to do now w digital audio .
Make a reverse copy of your master or jam track.

Record your harp track while monitoring the reverse master.

Then mute the reverse master copy, un mute the master.

Make a reverse copy of the harmonica track. Play this back with the original master, hit play and have some fun.

Comments off list welcome if any one tries this.

Another fun thing to do after recording harmonica is run the harp riff
backwards.

What an extrodinatary thing! I always thought dancing improper, but it
can't be since I myself am dancing. For I am a model cow.
