The Blues Bands are perfectly fine entry level harps. It's the best deal going to get a set of 7 different keys for about $30. I have used the C model for my classes and never heard any complaints. 


As for bending, the harps in my 7-set bend just fine. And they play just as well as the other German, Japanese, Brazil, China made harps I own in my extensive collection. The more expensive harps will just last longer on heavy usage. Of course, who would ever expect the BluesBand to stand up to the same kind of playing -- length of time or stress -- that the Crossover will take?


If you want to spent $100 a harp, go for it. But if you want good entry level harps in 7 keys and want to see what it feels and sounds like to play in other than the key C, go for it.

I have also such a case with 7 Hohner Bluesbands. Would be glad to sell it as well for 30 Dollars. They all are leaky, dull sounding, hardly bendable and in my opinion not reasonably playable. For me that means they are worthless.

I bought them by error, I thought they are Hohner Blues Harps, which are reasonably playable, whereby the low D is an outstanding Excellency, I do not know how that comes.
