The harps do touch.. This case would be lousy for heavy transport without 
some kind of lattice insert. I put the Seydels in their little leather 
sleeves. Maybe this is not great for slinging around... Good maybe for a 
trip from the car to the club over my shoulder.

How do you separate the harps so that they bang against each other?

I just received a camcorder bag I bought from Amazon. It holds about 15-16
diatonics vertically. I has one velcro divider you can set in the middle to
contain about 8 harps on each side. It  has a handle on top, two belt loops,
and a shoulder strap. It is an  "AmazonBasics Bag for Camcorders and Large
P&S Cameras."
