RE: [Harp-L] Sonny Terry's Hand Smack

Excellent tutorial. I like that you've included the actual written music.
I've been playing harp since the late 60's, and only a few years ago started
practicing to read music (joined a local community choir to assist with the
reading). Sonny Terry was my first main influence on harp, and I find it
very helpful, and educational, to follow along reading with you. Great
stuff, man!

Subject: [Harp-L] Sonny Terry's Hand Smack

In this video we will play the first bars of the 2nd chorus of a Sonny
Terry's boogie. We'll gone through the hand smack, a Sonny's typical
technique. Sonny played this riff in several songs like "Hooray, Hooray,
This Woman Is Killing Me", "Boogie Baby",...

I try to accurately reproduce the original, and that everyone can enjoy
playing the blues and country harp.

Hope you enjoy,
