Hi Eric,

By all means, learn to re-tune! It's fun and VERY satisfying.

My methods, from favorite to least

   1. lower reeds with solder
   2. swap reeds on Lee Oskar: use nut and bolt
   3. swap reeds on Hohner: original rivet will set tight in new location
   4. have not been successful with Blu-Tack

I used solder to create my Spirals from Lee Oskar harps. Even taking some
down 7 semitones for additional LOW keys!

Start slowly and become more confident with experience.
Gather all advice. Try them all. You will develop a favorite.
