Re: [Harp-L] Harmonica players playing percussion

Though not completely the topic of playing harp and bones simultaneously, when talking about blues and bones, one must mention a killer CD by Archie Edwards called, strangely enough, "Blues 'N Bones."

Archie's Piedmont guitar and vocals are backed by Richard "Mr. Bones" Thomas and the Nighthawks' Mark Wenner on harmonica. Love it!

BTW, Archie Edwards was around for a long time. He knew and played with the likes of Mississippi John Hurt back in the day. He owned and played blues in his barbershop for decades in Washington, D.C. It is now a full-fledged blues museum that hosts jams on Saturdays. It's not unusual to find Phil Wiggins showing up for the fun. acousticblues.com/Jams/jams.html <http://www.acousticblues.com/Jams/jams.html>
