What you say may not all be true.  The old Marine Band (not the Deluxe and Crossovers which are coated), Blues Harps and I believe some of the Seydels are made with wood combs.

Agreed. Rockin' Rons. 
But no Sp. 20s for $3.58....those days are definitely long gone so are the old wood combs and construction from back in the day. And all the bloody lips! Those were the days.
