RE: [Harp-L] 5 Blow Sample and Multi Overbends

Thanks Greg.
Mr Korg is always right ! :-)

Yes, what I mean by "multioverbend" is the possibility to get different
notes depending on the position of your toungue while you overblow.
The easiest is probably on the 4 overblow.
You can get an Eb by doing a simple overblow (let's write it +4°)
You can get an E by putting your toungue a bit higher (let's write it +4°° &
call it double overblow)
You can continue to move your tongue, & get an F (let's call it triple
overdraw), etc.
I can go until Ab on the 4th hole, knowing that my G & Ab are creating
airplane imitations, but Mr Korg accepts those weird sounds too ;-)

You can hear a good example of multiple overdraws here :
http://www.sebcharlier.com/goodies.php (2nd audio called "Atelier
Multioverdraw").

Jeri,
That is a really cool sound sample on the 5 blow!
Very impressive and great discussion possibilities here.

How do you define a "multi overbend"?
Is that a variance in pitch on an overbend?

By the way, I was able to hit the Eb blow bend - albeit somewhat sharp - as
well as the other 3 notes on a run of the mill, stock, out-of-the-box,
untweeked, uncustomized, untouched by the masters Seydel Session Steel.

It weren't pretty but Mr. Korg said the notes were there.
