Re: [Harp-L] Modifying a green bullet?

Two primary things you can do with a 520DX are change the element for some other form of Shure element, be it CR, CM, etc, and change the connection out to something detatchable like a 1/4" female jack or a 5/8" screw-on barrel with a 1/4" female adapter.

Element replacement will give you better tone all over, and the connection modification will allow for ease of use with more than one cable in the event that the hard wired one might go bad.

Subject: [Harp-L] Modifying a green bullet?

I recall someone at SPAH talking about making some upgrades to a stock
green bullet mic to make it more player-friendly - what are some of the
things one can do to make it a better piece of hardware?

Thanks!
