The ol' Denture Cleanser works well on Brass and phosphor-bronze, but as you
stated not so good on chrome...
A number of years ago I started using an ultrasonic cleaner and my harps
last WAY longer than when I used the denture tablets....
I do a couple of shows a week on average and all of my diatonics are over
10-years old.
I do have a few new units in commonly used keys on standby, just in case.
