Subject: [Harp-L] Feeler gauge

Hi Richard: Here's a 36-leaf Sears Feeler Gauge Set. Inexpensive enough at
$6.29 (although they do have smaller sets (a 25-leaf one for a dollar
less).

It's nice to know they still make these bigger sets: I have an old Sears
set from the '60's I lifted from my father-in-law's work bench after he
died. My husband was about to take it for his car but it was in pristine
condition and I wanted it for my chromatics--after reading about their use from
people like Smokey, et al. (I bought him a substitute).<G>

I just have a quick question. The feeler gauge, I have to work on my
harmonicas
is old and starting to fall apart. Do the standard ones sold in auto
supply
stores have thin enough feelers for working on harmonicas. Does anyone
know of
an inexpensive one to buy? Thanks for any advice given"
