   1. think rhythm
   2. think scales (PARTS of scales!)
   3. pour a lot into your head (which IS your musical library during
   improv) by listening to great examples

Great grooves are often a smaller group of notes, often not fast. We like
to hear something familiar, so we repeat a bit. Then we like something
fresh and new, yet closely related. And back to the familiar.
