Overbend is a catch-all term for both overblows and overdraws.

"Blow note rising" can be misleading, as you're probably aware. The reed that sounds in an overblow is the draw reed, responding to an exhaled breath in opening mode (moving away from the reedplate before springing back) and sounding a pitch higher than its standard closing pitch, just as in an overdraw the reed responding to the inhaled breath is the blow reed opening at a higher pitch.
