Re: [Harp-L] Free tuners for a mac?

I've used the Katsura tuner, which seems to be well-liked. It's shareware with a 90-day trial period and a $10 cost:

There's also the freeware Tune-It, which I haven't used:

Dirk's tuners for accordion and harmonica are very good, but cost more than what's described above and are written only for Windows. However, they will run in VMware on a Mac - Dirk's Accordion tuner on my MacBook Pro is my go-to tuner for multi-reed instruments (tremolo and octave harps, and accordions).

Subject: [Harp-L] Free tuners for a mac?

One of my students cannot afford a tuner and does not have a smartphone.
He does have a mac.  Is there a free tuner?
Thanks,
Michael Rubin
