[Harp-L] Who Cut My Head?

Hello list,I have been trying to recall the name of the harp player that blew me away one night. It was in the early '90s in Louisville KY. I can't remember the name of the club.
I was serving as the harp man for The U n k n o w n Blues Band with B i g Mike Griffi n as the lead man. He is 6' 10" tall (this should help jog someone's memory).
There was a guy helping work the door and he and I were talking harp and were in a discussion of tongue blocking. He said that he had known Big Walter and that BW had actually shown him some technique. It was a very cool blues venue and after the first show, and after checking with my bandmates, I asked this guy if he would like to play. Also, I was using a real 1959 Bassman and a JT30 dry. This was in the days when on special situations I would actually allow someone else play my own harmonicas and he did.
This guy cut my head and that is when I got more intense about learning better TB technique.
I just wonder if you are a part of this list and please identify yourself, on line or off, I dont care. I have had my head cut from time to time but this was a life changing experience. No kidding...and I have been thinking about posting this for a long time on the off-chance that this person watches the postings here or that maybe someone knows who it may have been based on my description of the event.
Thanks to you I am a better player.
