[Harp-L] Re: Parker's Mood

My sincere thanks and gratitude to Madcat, Robert H., Smo-Joe, Rob and
everyone else who took time to listen to and/or comment on my latest
Youtube. Your kind comments made my day!

As some of you know, I don't play for money, I play for glory, even if it
means going down in glorious flaming defeat by a quixotic attempt at
emulating the Bird on a harp. When I listen to my stab at "Parker's Mood"
I only hear the mistakes, so its really nice to hear other's evaluations,
especially those of my esteemed colleagues here on Harp-L.

Actually, the main motivation behind my YouTube postings is to generate
interest in the Fourkey and LeGato tunings. I purposefully chose to
tackle "Parker's Mood" because it is a blues. It's always difficult to
get most harp players to consider trying an altered tuning, but perhaps by
showing what LeGato can do with the blues, that might pique some interest.
If you are interested feel free to ask me anything about the tunings
either here on Harp-L, or over at Slidemeister where there are topics
devoted to Fourkey and LeGato, or just send me an e-mail privately.

If you missed the link the first time, here it is again:

Thanks again for listening.
