When iI was a kid, M. B.'s were under a dollar. They were $2.50 at Manny's in N. Y., as late as 1972.

When I was a teenager and we used to "cruise Woodward Ave" in Detroit, we'd all pile into a car and pitch in $1 for gas. Since gas was $.29/gallon, we'd fill up the tank easily.



Oh yeah, my harmonicas cost me $3.25.

I grew up in my fathers music store in northern NY He had me stock the show
cases with strings, picks and harmonicas In 1960 Marine Bands were $1.25 . Wish
I had a time machine ! The last Filisko I bought was $160 ! If you could even
get one now there around $ 300 Sheesh ! Everything is going up and up except my
gig pay !
